THAMESFORD - The Thamesford Trojans could be moving on to the next round of the Yeck Division playoffs if they beat the North Middlesex Stars this evening.
Thamesford is currently leading the best-of-seven semifinal series 3-0 and Game 4 will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Thamesford Area Rec Centre tonight.
Meanwhile, the Tavistock Braves were eliminated from the Doherty Division playoffs last night after they suffered a 5-4 overtime loss to the New Hamburg Firebirds. The Firebirds won the semifinal series 4-0 in the end and they will now face the Norwich Merchants or the Wellesley Applejacks in the next round. The Applejacks are currently leading that series 3-1 and Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow night in Wellesley.
