It's the final weekend of the PJHL regular season.
PJHL - The Norwich Merchants will try to secure the Doherty Division Championship title this weekend, but they have to beat three opponents first.
The Merchants will visit the Woodstock Navy Vets tonight, the Paris Titans Sunday night, and the Tavistock Braves in an afternoon matchup on the holiday Monday.
The Merchants are currently tied for first place in the Doherty Division standings with the New Hamburg Firebirds, followed by the Navy Vets in third place.
The Vets will also be in action on Monday when they host the New Hamburg Firebirds in a matinee matchup at Southwood Arena. There will be a special pre-game ceremony celebrating the retirement of Dan Dukes, who has dedicated over 50 years to the organization.
The Tavistock Braves will visit the Hespeler Shamrocks on Sunday.
The Thamesford Trojans don't have any games planned for the long weekend, but they did suffer a 5-4 loss to the Petrolia Flyers last night.
