Another week of games in the PJHL for the teams in Oxford County.
PJHL - It will be another action-packed week in the Provincial Junior Hockey League for the teams in Oxford County.
Starting tonight, the Woodstock Navy Vets will look for their second win of the young season, as they travel to Paris to battle the Titans. The Vets fell to the Titans in their first match-up on September 19th by the score of 6-5. The game tonight is at the Brant Sports Complex, and puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Vets will also hit the ice at home on Friday for the second installment of the Battle of Highway 59, as the Norwich Merchants visit Southwood Arena. Norwich was victorious in the first meeting on September 14th, 4-3 in overtime. Puck drop on Friday will be 7:45 p.m.
Speaking of the Merchants, they will also lace up the skates on Saturday, when they are in Tavistock to take on the Braves. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Sticking with the Braves, they will welcome the Hespeler Shamrocks to the Tavistock and District Recreation Centre on Friday night, with the puck dropping at 7:30 p.m.
And lastly, sliding over to the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans entertain the Aylmer Spitfires at the Thamesford Area Recreation Centre on Friday at 7:30 p.m., then will travel to Port Stanley to take on the Sailors on Saturday, with puck drop at 7:30 p.m.
