PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets have advanced to the next round of the PJHL playoffs.
This comes after they shutout the Paris Titans 2-0 at Southwood Arena Friday night. Connor Stanley and Chris Coulter scored for the Vets and Tyler Bouck finished the night with 29 saves.
Woodstock won the quarterfinal series 4-1.
Meanwhile, it was an exciting weekend for the Tavistock Braves. They beat the New Hamburg Firebirds 3-1 on Friday but suffered a 2-1 loss yesterday.
A winner-take-all Game 7 will be taking place at the Wilmot Recreation Complex tomorrow night with the puck drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The season has ended for the Thamesford Trojans in the Yeck Division. They celebrated a 5-4 victory over the Port Stanley Sailors Friday night, but they also suffered a 4-1 loss on Saturday and a 4-1 loss yesterday. Thamesford lost the quarterfinal series 4-2 in the end.
