The Navy Vets are leading Doherty Division standings, after celebrating two wins at Southwood Arena over the weekend.
PJHL - Southwood Arena was the place to be over the weekend.
The Woodstock Navy Vets were able to beat the Paris Mounties 3-2 on Friday. Nolan Brett scored twice and Aiden Kindurys scored his first career goal for Woodstock.
The Vets also celebrated a 5-2 home win over the New Hamburg Firebirds on Saturday. Tyler Bouck finished the night with 31 saves.
The Firebirds shutout the Tavistock Braves 4-0 on Friday, but the Braves bounced back with a 7-4 victory over the Norwich Merchants on Saturday.
The Navy Vets are leading the Doherty Division standings with 31 points. They're followed by the Firebirds with 25 points, the Braves with 17 points, the Hespeler Shamrocks with 14 points, and the Merchants with 12 points. The Wellesley Applejacks are sitting in sixth place with 10 points and the Paris Titans have seven points.
Meanwhile in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans beat the Dorchester Dolphins 2-1 in overtime on Friday but suffered a 7-3 loss to the North Middlesex Stars on Saturday. The Trojans are currently second in the division standings with 26 points, behind the Stars with 28 points.
