The Woodstock Navy Vets sit on top of the Doherty Division standings after celebrating two wins over the weekend.
PJHL - It was a good weekend for the Woodstock Navy Vets.
They crushed the Dorchester Dolphins 4-1 on Friday, with rookie goalie Kobe Nadalin making 30 saves for Woodstock.
The Vets also shutout the Tavistock Braves 5-0 on Saturday with Charley Barnes, Kyle Arthur, Owen Ireton, and Liam Gorman scoring for the home team.
The Braves did see some success, when they beat the Hespeler Shamrocks 6-2 on Friday and 4-2 yesterday.
The Norwich Merchants only had one game over the weekend, where they beat the Paris Titans 5-4 in overtime on Friday.
The Navy Vets sit on top of the Doherty Division standings with 23 points, followed by the Wellesley Applejacks with 22 points, and the Braves with 21 points. The New Hamburg Firebirds sit in fourth place with 19 points ans they're followed by the Merchants with 18 points ans the Titans with 14 points. The Shamrocks and the Dolphins are tied for last place with 13 points each.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans doubled the Lucan Irish 4-2 on Friday.
The Trojans remain on top of the Yeck Division standings with 22 points, two points ahead of the second place North Middlesex Stars.
