The Navy Vets, the Braves, the Merchants, and the Trojans all have their home openers tonight.
PJHL - It's the return of the PJHL season for Oxford County's Junior C hockey teams.
The Woodstock Navy Vets, the Tavistock Braves, the Norwich Merchants, and the Thamesford Trojans will all have their home openers tonight.
The Vets will host the Dorchester Dolphins at Southwood Arena with the puck drop scheduled for 7:45 p.m. Admission will be free and donations will be accepted for the Terry Fox Foundation.
The Braves will battle the New Hamburg Firebirds over in Tavistock. That game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
Norwich hockey fans will pack Nor-Del Arena to watch the Merchants take on the Paris Titans at 8:00 p.m.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans host the Aylmer Spitfires at 7:30 p.m.
Looking at the weekend schedule, Thamesford will visit Lucan and Wellesley will host Tavistock on Saturday. The Tavistock game will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Thamesford game has an 8:00 p.m. start time.
The Vets will be in Hespeler on Sunday for an afternoon matchup against the Shamrocks. That game should begin at 3:30 p.m.
