The Woodstock Navy Vets suffered a 4-1 loss to the Tavistock Braves on Friday but doubled the Hespeler Shamrocks 4-2 yesterday.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets ended the year with a win and a loss.
The Vets suffered a 4-1 loss to the Tavistock Braves at Southwood Arena Friday night. Ethan Szabo scored the lone goal for Woodstock and Tyler Bouck had 29 saves. The Vets also doubled the Shamrocks in Hespeler 4-2 yesterday.
The Braves suffered a 5-2 loss to the New Hamburg Firebirds on Saturday.
The Norwich Merchants crushed the Shamrocks 4-1 on Friday and doubled the Paris Mounties 6-3 on Saturday.
The Firebirds are currently leading the Doherty Division with 46 points. They're followed by the Wellesley Applejacks with 40 points, the Merchants with 31 points, the Braves with 31 points, the Navy Vets with 25 points, the Shamrocks with 10 points, and the Mounties with 5 points.
In the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans suffered a 5-4 loss to the Lucan Irish on Friday and fell to Port Stanley Sailors 6-5 yesterday. Thamesford is currently leading the division with 38 points.
