"Of course this is something that is very meaningful to the entire community and I add my voice to Mayor Wearn's voice that the individual with those flags to please return them and their will be no repercussions. In the meantime, I have reached out to the MP and the MPP and today for their council meeting I will be delivering three Canada flags to replace those that have gone missing."
158 Canadian flags hang at the Plattsville Afghanistan Memorial to represent the 158 soldiers who lost their life on the mission. The three flags were taken during the Tyler Todd Memorial tournament over the weekend.
