Includes lock it or lose it, stolen construction materials and a stolen truck.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are once again preaching lock it or lose it after four vehicles were entered in the area of Hunter St., Bexley St., and Buller St. in Woodstock.
All of the vehicles had been left unlocked and the thefts happened sometime on Wednesday night. Stolen was some loose change, CD's and personal identification. Police are reminding people to LOCK IT OR LOSE IT. Don't leave valuables in plain view, park in a well-lit area and lock your doors.
Meanwhile some construction materials were taken from a couple of sites in Woodstock. Police say the thefts happened over two days. Stolen was about $1,500 worth of copper wire, roof boards and other building materials stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact Woodstock Police or Crime Stoppers.
And finally a 2003 GMC Sierra pick-up truck was stolen from the parking lot of the Quality Inn in Woodstock. Police say the owner of the truck parked his vehicle on Sunday morning and when he returned on Thursday it had been stolen. The truck is described as grey with the Ontario Marker 820 9TX.
