Oxford County officials would like drivers to report the potholes they come across this spring.
OXFORD COUNTY - Now that spring is in the air, Public Works is asking residents to help keep Oxford County roadways safe.
If you notice any damages to roadways in Oxford, please report them to the Public Works Department. Public Works reminds residents that cracks and holes on roadways are typical due to changing weather temperatures.
If you notice a road hazard in your area, reports can be made via email to customerservice@oxfordcounty.ca.
Ensure all reports include:
- The name of the street
- The nearest building number
- The name of the nearest cross-street
- Which lane the pothole is located (i.e., northbound lane, turning lane, etc.)
- The approximate size of the pothole (e.g., dinner plate-sized, man-hole)
For damage to vehicles potentially caused by road damage, drivers are advised to report any potential damage to their insurance companies.
It’s pothole season! During this time of year, road cracks and potholes can develop quickly. If you see a section of road that may need pothole repairs, report it by e-mailing customerservice@oxfordcounty.ca. pic.twitter.com/eTxJbSvLcU
