Over 12,000 customers are without power right now in Tillsonburg and surrounding area.
UPDATE: Power has been restored.
UPDATE: Hydro One is now saying the power will not be restored to everyone until about 5:45 p.m.
TILLSONBURG - The entire Town of Tillsonburg is without power right now.
The power outage is impacting over 12,000 people and it stretches all the way to Courtland in Norfolk County. Hydro One says the power outage was caused by material failure. Hydro One crews are investigating and they estimate that everyone will have their power restored by 4:00 p.m. today.
The outage extends to South Walsingham, North Norwich, Dereham, Vienna, Middleton, South Norwich, Norfolk, Burford, Port Burwell, East Oxford, Malahide, Bayham, Houghton, Norwich, North Walsingham and Windham.
