Hydro One continue to work on restoring power in Oxford County
Some residents in rural Oxford County who have been without power since Sunday, should have the power back on in time for Christmas.
There are still a few pockets left in the dark after the weekend ice storm.
Hickson is the biggest area without power, where nearly 300 homes remain in the dark, where the township office is open till 4:30 as a warming centre.
Another 230 homes are out in the Eastwood area, along Highway 2.
There are also scattered outages through Zorra, Norwich and Blandford-Blenheim Townships.
At the latest, the power is expected to be back on by noon tomorrow.
The Erie Thames Powerlines website says they have restored power to all of their customers, while there were only a few brief outages in Woodstock on Sunday.
