Province confirmed 1,723 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, 1,685 recoveries and another 35 deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,723 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 119,922.
The Province confirmed another 35 deaths this morning and the total number of deaths now sits at 3,698. Meanwhile another 1,686 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 101,698.
The province completed 44,226 tests yesterday. We currently have 656 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 183 in the ICU and 106 COVID-19 patients on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots 500 new cases in Peel, 410 in Toronto and 196 in York Region.
