We currently have 14,997 active cases in Ontario after the Province confirmed 1,780 new cases this morning and 1,553 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,780 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 123,526.
The Province confirmed another 25 deaths this morning and the total number of deaths now sits at 3,737. Meanwhile another 1,553 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 104,792.
The province completed 56,001 tests yesterday. We currently have 674 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 207 in the ICU and 116 COVID-19 patients on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 633 new cases in Toronto, 433 in Peel and 152 in York Region.
