The Province confirmed 243 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 24 deaths. The total number of resolved cases now sits at 24,492.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 243 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 0.8% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 30,860.
The Province also confirmed another 24 deaths bringing the total to 2,450 and 1,575 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile the total number of resolved cases to 24,492.
5,256 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,932 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 603 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 118 are in the ICU and 81 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 15,537 tests yesterday.
