The Province of Ontario confirmed 292 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 32 deaths. They also announced another 441 people have made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 292 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.1% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 26,483.
The Province also confirmed another 32 deaths bringing the total to 2,155 and 1,352 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 414 people have made a full recovery from the virus and the total number of resolved cases now sits at 20,372.
4,936 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,721 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 847 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 150 are in the ICU and 117 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 15,133 tests yesterday.
