Daily case numbers are over 4,000 today in Ontario with 2,641 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 4,227 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 378,339.
The Province confirmed has confirmed 18 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,512. Another 2,641 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 341,200.
The province completed 61,410 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,492 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 552 people in the ICU and 359 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,218 new cases in Toronto, 762 in Peel, 532 in York Region, 247 in Durham and 246 in Ottawa.
