Over 2,200 people in Ontario are currently in the hospital with COVID-19, including 755 patients in the ICU.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 4,447 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 421,442.
The Province confirmed 19 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,735. Another 3,153 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 370,844.
The province completed 42,873 tests yesterday. We currently have 2,202 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 755 people in the ICU and 516 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,299 new cases in Toronto, 926 in Peel, 577 in York Region, 233 in Ottawa and 227 in Hamilton.
