Ontario has set another record high for daily COVID-19 cases with 4,736 confirmed this morning and 3,174 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 4,736 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 403,571.
The Province confirmed 57 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,639. Another 3,174 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 357,591.
The province completed 65,559 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,932 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 659 people in the ICU and 422 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,188 new cases in Toronto, 983 in Peel, 526 in York Region, 342 in Ottawa, 216 in Durham and 215 in Niagara.
