The amount of resolved cases is exactly 1,000 more than new cases today in the Province of Ontario.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 733 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 532,891.
The Province confirmed 25 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,791. Another 1,733 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 513,436.
The province completed 31,768 tests yesterday. We currently have 708 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 576 people in the ICU and 399 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 173 new cases in Toronto, 134 in Peel, 69 in York Region and 66 in Hamilton.
