The Homelessness Support Centre is scheduled to open in the spring of 2028.
WOODSTOCK - It's your chance to learn more and provide feedback for the Homelessness Support Centre in Woodstock.
A public information meeting will be held in the Boughtflower Hall at South Gate Centre from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today. There will be a presentation highlighting what the centre is all about, while also detailing the operational aspects, safety and security protocols, and more. It will also include a question and answer period.

The Homelessness Support Centre will be located in the former YMCA building on Dundas Street and it will include 55 shelter beds, day programs, and supports to help people out of homelessness. The county is hoping to open it by the spring of 2028.
