The rain is expected to come to an end Saturday evening.
OXFORD - Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Oxford County.
Periodic rain will continue tonight and will likely become heavy at times through Saturday. Up to 35 milimetres of rain is possible in a few locations and the frozen ground has led to a reduced ability to absorb the expected rainfall.
The rain is expected to come to an end Saturday evening.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks.
The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority says they do not expect serious flood risk at this time.
