Remembrance Day ceremonies will be taking place across Oxford County today.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's a day to remember in Oxford County and across the rest of the country.
It's Remembrance Day, where we all take a moment to remember the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom.
Kristen Broadhagen, the Manager of Special Events for the City of Woodstock, says you can find special banners in the downtown core.
"We installed our banners a few years ago and they are very important, everyone has really appreciated them throughout the community. There is a Walk to Remember Map on our website that will guide you throughout the downtown core so you can see all the banners."
Woodstock also installed a commemorative crosswalk at the corner of Graham and Buller Streets this year. Over in Tillsonburg, the Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre debuted a veterans memorial bench back in September.
