WOODSTOCK - Lots of motorcycles will hit the road in support of the Oxford County Animal Rescue.
The annual Ride for the Rescue Poker Run will be taking place this Sunday with everyone leaving the Woodstock Legion at 10:00 a.m.. All of the participants will follow a mapped out route and receive a poker card at each stop. Whoever has the best poker hand once everyone returns to the Legion at 2:00 p.m. wins!
It costs $20 per rider to sign up or $25 for a rider with a passenger. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. the day of and you can also e-mail anna@oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com to pre-register. The Oxford County Animal Rescue will use the proceeds from this event to help pay for the vetting and rehabilitation of the animals in its care.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, the event will be postponed to Sunday, June 28th. That announcement would be posted on the Oxford County Animal Rescue Facebook page the morning of.
