The Royal Canadian Legion has launched its poppy campaign and there will be tap-enabled donation boxes this year.
CANADA - The Royal Canadian Legion has officially launched the poppy campaign.
The poppies will be available at just over 27,000 locations across Canada. The Legion introducing biodegradable poppies and bringing back the Pay Tribute donation boxes. These boxes are tap enabled, so it's easy for people to donate in $2, $5, and $10 increments.
The Royal Canadian Legion's Poppy Campaign always launches on the last Friday of October and lasts until Remembrance Day on November 11th. All of the proceeds support veterans and their family members.
