The Woodstock Lions presenedt the VON Sakura House with a donation of just over $5000 today. The donation comes from the Lions recent ?All You Need is Love? Beatles variety show. Stephen Newton the Lions producer of comedy and music show, "I think it's a fabulous charity, and it's something that needs community support to continue to operate. It's something near and dear to a lot of peoples hearts." The Sakura House is a 24 hour end of life care centre. Kyra McNamara the Fund Development Coordinator of the Sakura House on what what the donation will go towards "The money goes towards our annual operating campaign, that takes care of our day to day operations and patient care." Sakura House is the only residential hospice run by VON anywhere in Canada. (In photo: L ?
