Woodstock's Salvation Army Food Bank has won a $1000 windfall. The money is coming, courtesy of Kraft's "Food for Families" contest. For 10 weeks, Canadian residents can go on-line and vote for their community's food bank. Woodstock's Salvation Army is the week 7 winner of the contest. Director Vanessa Scotney-Paige tells Heart FM how the money will be used. "We have many clients who have special needs: diabetes or some of them can't have the wheat, the gluten-free, that kind of stuff, and we usually don't hold a lot of that. So that money will go to a special fund that I have that will help them with their needs." On top of the $1000, the Food Bank will still get 1-dollar for every vote cast. You can cast your vote at www.kraftassists.ca.
