The Norwich Santa Claus Parade will be taking place on Friday December 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
NORWICH - Christmas will run through the streets of Norwich.
On December 2 at 7:00 p.m., the annual Santa Claus parade will go from Emily Stowe Public School on Stover Street to the Norwich Fire Hall on Main Street.
The parade will include tons of participants with at least 12 floats, a large firetruck with bright lights and an, of course, an appearance from Santa Claus himself.
The parade is being organized by the Norwich Firefighters Association and volunteer firefighter Paula Andreychuk says the parade shouldn't take too long.
"It's probably just under half an hour because obviously, we don't have a huge parade route but the vehicles do take their time and move slowly so you certainly want to get a spot before 7 o'clock so you don't miss anything."
The floats aren't finalized yet, so if you're interested in joining the Norwich Santa Claus Parade, Andreychuk asks you please call her at 226-325-5463. You can also send an e-mail to paula@genesiswealth.ca.
The Norwich BIA will also be hosting lots of fun events in town on parade day and you can find more information online here.
