Local Rotarians paid host to some special guests over the weekend. A group of 22 Rotarians from Scotland were in the city as they tour across Canada. Rotarian and Canadian-Scottish curler Doug Eckel (in photo on left) says they come every four years for a tradition that's being going on since 1956. "The last team has the duty to host the next team. So this is about two years in the making to line everything up. Once you get the previous times programmed, it a piece of cake to organize it," said Eckel. Scotland's Skip Matt Murdoch (in photo on right) says it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. "As the tour goes on you bond and get to know each other, winning is not important," said Murdoch, "You can only do this once in your life... it's magical." Rotarians from Canada will go over to tour Scotland in 2014.
