Tennis great suggests she will retire after the US Open.
American tennis great Serena Williams says she is ready to step away from the sport.
Williams shared her thoughts on the subject in a Vogue magazine essay released earlier today, indicating her final tournament could be the US Open.
The 23-time Grand Slam Champion says she's ready to retire so she can focus on having another child and her business interests.
The 40 year old is currently playing at the Canadian Open, and won her first match in over a year on Monday, advancing to the second round.
The US Open will take place August 29th - September 11th.
