A woman is facing life threatening injuries after a single vehicle crash just south of Norwich.
NORWICH - A woman is facing life threatening injuries after a crash this morning in Norwich Township.
Police say a car was heading southbound on Highway 59 when it left the roadway and hit the ditch at 7:30 this morning. The vehicle came to rest facing a southeast direction on the front lawn between Maple Dell Road and Vanash Road.
Police Fire and EMS were called to the scene. The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The highway was closed for several hours to allow for an investigation this morning between Maple Dell Road and Vanash Road.
OPP canvassed the area seeking any potential witnesses with negative results. The collision may have occurred several hours prior to being discovered.
