Environment Canada suggests we could get between 15 to 20 cm of snowfall before tomorrow morning.
A snowfall warning has been issued for the entire region including Oxford County.
Environment Canada says we could get total amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres today. The storm is coming in from Texas. Rain will start this afternoon and change to snow by the evening. Heavy snowfall is expected overnight making for a messy commute tomorrow morning.
In addition, strong and gusty northerly winds will whip up the freshly fallen snow later tonight, resulting in blowing and drifting snow in exposed areas. Motorists are being advised to take precautions and give yourself plenty of time to arrive at your destination. The snow storm will end by Friday morning.
