Good news for commuters this afternoon... Snowsqualls that have been pounding the London area have pushed off to the west, and have been letting up this afternoon. A snowsquall warning is still in effect in Lambton County, where one is blowing through the Strathroy area. Aside from that, the lake effect snow has cleared up across the region. It's left London with a blanket of some 40-45cms of snow. In Oxford County, the Cold Weather Alert should be lifted by tomorrow morning, as the temperature is expected to rise overnight to -6. This afternoon's high is -11 with a windchill factor of -22.
