Southwestern Public Health is reporting one new active case of COVID-19 today in the City of Woodstock.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting one new active case of COVID-19 today.
The new case is in the City of Woostock, meaning we currently have 5 active cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County, 2 in St. Thomas and one case in Elgin County.
Active Cases in Oxford County:
- 1 case in Woodstock
- 1 case in Tillsonburg
- 3 cases in East Zorra-Tavistock
To date, the Health Unit has tested 7,284 people for COVID-19. We have 82 cumulative confirmed cases, 70 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 8 active cases. We have also have had three institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared. Two outbreaks were in Elgin County and they are listed as resolved. The third outbreak was at Secord Trails Long Term Care Home in the Town of Ingersoll. It was declared resolved last week.
