Southwestern Public Health Confirms 28 New Cases of COVID-19 This Morning

The Health Unit is also reporting another COVID-19 related death, It's the second in as many days. The deceased is a man in his 70's from St. Thomas. 

OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 28 new cases of COVID-19 today and 22 resolved cases.

The Health Unit is also reporting another COVID-19 related death, It's the second in as many days. The deceased is a man in his 70's from St. Thomas. 

The active case count for SWPH region is 188 and you can find the complete break down below;

Woodstock - 44

Tillsonburg - 28

Norwich Township - 9

Zorra Township - 6

East Zorra-Tavistock - 4

Blandford-Blenheim - 4

Ingersoll - 3

South-West Oxford - 1

St. Thomas - 69

Bayham - 6

Aylmer - 6

Central Elgin - 3

Dutton-Dunwich - 3

Malahide - 2

Five people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and one person is in the ICU. 

An outbreak has been declared at the Caressant Care Bonnie Place in St. Thomas.
