SW Public Health is reporting 43 active cases right now with most of them in Aylmer and Woodstock. The Health Unit also confirmed 5 resolved cases today.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 8 new cases of the virus today and 5 resolved cases.
We currently have 1 person in the hospital with the virus and they are currently in the ICU. The Health Unit is reporting 43 active cases with most of them in Aylmer and Woodstock. Here is the breakdown of the locations according to Southwestern Public Health:

Ingersoll - 2
Blandford-Blenheim - 2
Tillsonburg - 1
Aylmer - 16
St. Thomas - 5
Central Elgin - 1
Bayham - 1
West Elgin - 1
The Health Unit is also reporting just 1 active outbreak at local long term care homes at the Aylmer Retirement Residence. Southwestern Public Health is currently in the red control mark of the opening Ontario Frame work. It is expected we will be moving down to either orange or yellow next week when the next announcement is made today.
