Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 today. So far Oxford County just has one case and Elgin County has two cases in total.
OXFORD COUNTY/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - There are no new cases of COVID-19 to report in the region, according to Southwestern Public Health.
There is currently one case in Oxford County, with the lone case occurring in Blandford-Blenheim. Elgin County has two cases overall.
There have been three institutional outbreaks during the pandemic, all of which have been resolved.
8.821 tests have been completed and 8,699 have been received, with 8,614 of them have come back negative.
To date, the local health unit has had 85 cumulative cases with 77 resolved cases and five deaths.
