Environment Canada issued the statement due to strong winds forecasted for today. It is possible for wind gusts to reach 70 to 90 km/h late this morning into the evening.
Wind warnings might also be put in place for some areas as strong southwesterly winds develop late this morning as a low pressure system pushes over northeastern Ontario.
