OPP officers charged three speedsters on Oxford County roadways recently.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford OPP busted not one, not two, but three stunt drivers over the weekend.
Officers charged a 22-year-old from Woodstock after they were caught going 180 kilometres per hour on Highway 401, close to Woodstock, Saturday night. They were charged with stunt driving, speeding, and careless driving.
Another Woodstonian was charged yesterday evening. This driver was 19-years-old and police say they were going 141 kilometres per hour in an 80 zone on Road 68 in Zorra Township. They were charged with stunt driving, speeding, careless driving and with having an obstructed plate.
Lastly, a 32-year-old from North York was charged after they were caught going 175 kilometres per hour on Highway 401 in Ingersoll. That was around 1:30 a.m. and the driver faces one count of stunt driving.
Each driver also faces a two week drivers licence suspension and a month long vehicle impound.
