Doors Open Oxford seeking organizations willing to be a site for this year's event.
OXFORD COUNTY - Doors Open Oxford is looking for community organizations interested in being a site for this year's event.
Tourism Specialist for the County, Meredith Maywood says the event will take place May 30.
"We are looking for people that are involved in sports heritage. Whether it's a site, a club or an activity, to participate as being a site where people can come out for Doors Open and learn what they do."
Maywood says those interested would need to offer up their site free to the public from 10-5pm the day of the event.
"You're open to the public to come in for a tour. Typically you can have staff tours or it can be an experience or a demonstration that people get to enjoy and they learn about what you do at your organization."
Maywood says they will be accepting applications from community organizations but not personal collections.
Anyone wishing to be involved is asked to go to visit doorsopenoxford.ca for an application form.
The deadline for submissions is February 6.
