The Woodstock Christian School invites the community out to their Springfest on April 6th.
WOODSTOCK - The community is welcome to attend this year's Springfest at the Woodstock Christian School.
This year's event will feature a carnival theme.
Organizer and Director of Advancement and Communications at Woodstock Christian School, Joleen Mulder says there are a lot of activities to participate in, including a dunk tank.
"There's a dunk tank. So there's going to be teachers from Woodstock Christian School that students and people can dunk, and there's also going to be a nomination for people to get dunked as well. There's an adult relaxation zone and the adult relaxation zone it's for people 18 and older, and then they'll have competitions with shuffle board and crokinole and refreshments as well."
Mulder adds they wanted to select a carnival theme to bring the community together.
She says the Springfest is a fun event to bring the community together.
"It's just a way to grow the community and meet new people. It's just a good time out with family and friends."
In addition to the activities the community can enjoy, Mulder says people will also see some of their favourite characters and superheroes on hand including Rapunzel and Captain America.
The event is free to attend, but there are activities inside of the event that the public will pay for, including select events in the kids zone and breakfast and lunch.
Springfest will be on April 6th from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The proceeds will go towards the Woodstock Christian School.
