OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - For the sixth day in a row, Southwestern Public Health is reporting no active cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County.
We currently only have two active cases in the region and both are in Elgin County. Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases today.
To date, the Health Unit has tested 8.433 people for COVID-19. We have 83 cumulative confirmed cases, 77 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 4 active cases. We have also have had three institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared. All of the outbreaks are listed as resolved.
