Eight people from across the province are facing child porn related charges.
STRATFORD - The OPP's Child Sexual Exploitation Unit has busted eight people in eight different child porn investigations across the province.
35 year old Ernest Jordan Hesse of Stratford is one of them. He has been charged accessing it, possessing it and making it available.
Officers were dispatched to his home on February 5th, after conducting an undercover investigation online. They seized multiple computers on site and found images of child sexual abuse.
Two men from Fordwich have also been charged. The other individuals are from Formosa, Walkerton, Owen Sound, Kintore and Orangeville.
Commissioner Vince Hawkes says they will continue to crack down on this crime.
"Our most fundamental responsibility as a society is to protect our children from those who would do them harm. The OPP will continue to aggressively identify and pursue individuals who use technology to exploit children. These investigations highlight the many OPP, municipal and First Nations officers who are working diligently to keep our children safe."
