The Brant OPP and Oxford OPP Community Street Crime Units teamed up recently to find a stolen bike that was being sold on Kijiji.
BRANT COUNTY - The Brant OPP and Oxford OPP Community Street Crime Units teamed up recently to track down some stolen property.
A 2003 Honda XR100 off road motorcycle was stolen from a home in South Huron last month. The victim found his bike for sale on Kijiji in Brant County.
Police worked together to arrange a meeting with the seller. Once the seller showed up with the bike, they were arrested.
The 23 year old from Brantford was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and alter/deface or remove a VIN number.
