The annual Streetfest event is back in the downtown core of the Friendly City this weekend.
WOODSTOCK - The annual Streetfest event is back in Downtown Woodstock.
Festivities will begin today at 11:30 a.m. with live music on three stages throughout the downtown core. The event is hosted by the Downtown Woodstock BIA, and Operations Manager, Duane Kumala-Thomas speaks to what can be enjoyed over the weekend.
"From busker's, magic show, all sorts of games, the foam party, hula hoops circus, what that might be, we'll find out, there's a rock-climbing wall, and again, all of this is free entertainment."
Kumala-Thomas adds why this event is something people should checkout.
"There's been a lot of change in Woodstock over those years. Obviously, as we all know, this being a constant works as a great reason for people to come in and check out all that is downtown."
Kumala-Thomas says the weekend will conclude with the South Gate Centre's annual Streetfest Car Cruise. If you would like to get the full list of what will be taking place, you can visit the BIA's website. If you want to hear the full interview with Duane Kumala-Thomas you can below.
