OXFORD/BRANT - It's going to be very windy out there today.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Oxford County and Brant County.
It's forecasting chilly northwesterly wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour starting at around noon and continuing into the evening hours. The winds should start to slowly diminish tonight.
Strong winds can easily toss around loose objects, break tree branches and even cause power outages.
