Suspect Wanted in Ingersoll Investigation

Police say the same driver was involved in two crashes minutes apart in Ingersoll.

INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP is on the lookout for a suspect after two crashes involving the same vehicle in Ingersoll.

The first was in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Foldens Line at around 8:15 a.m. yesterday. Police say one of the vehicles fled the scene and crashed into a home on Charles Street West a few minutes later.

The suspect took off on foot from there and Sergeant Ed Sanchuk provided this description in a video posted on the OPP West Region X page.

"This person is described as black male, slim build, late 20s to early 30s, wearing a white t-shirt and dark jogging suit. He may not also be wearing shoes."
