The Woodstock Icebergs skating team is sending out a big 'Thank you' after a successful fundraiser.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Icebergs skating team was able to raise $770 during their Boston Pizza Fundraiser.
It all happened on Monday December 5th as people bought $20 tickets for a full buffet dinner.
The Icebergs were raising the money for ice time and competition fees as the team travels to invitationals.
They are a new competitive synchro-skating team with girls ranging in age from 8-13 years old.
The Icebergs are the latest team from the Woodstock Skating Club.
Woodstock Skating Board Member Heather Smith wanted to thank everyone for their support of the teams.
In a press release she says, "For some girls, this is their first team and the friendships they make will last for years to come."
