Oxford Students for Justice are once again looking to raise awareness about the working poor in developing countries through a t-shirt design contest. Participants are being asked to design a logo for a shirt that will be worn for 110 hours in the month of May. Peace Project Program Director Dave Steenburg says the purpose of the contest is simple. "For 110 hours in one week, we're going to wear the t-shirt as a way of wrapping our imaginations around what it means to work in a sweat shop. There is a sweat shop in Jordan that at one point their workers worked for 110 a week. So to kind of step into their shoes we're going to wear a t-shirt following their same schedule." The deadline for submission is midnight on March 19. For contest details visit the contest webpage or see them on Facebook .
